How to Grow and Care
LIGHT:
They require bright filtered sunlight but can tolerate partial shade. It does not need full sun. If the light is too low the stem will stretch and the leaves will be far apart and the purple coloring will fade. Therefore, to maintain it's look, grow in enough light. They thrive in gritty, well-draining soils (free-draining gritty mix) and pots with drainage holes (preferable).
Typically, many of these species grow and climb naturally among bushes which provide shade and humidity to the base, while the vegetative growth is in the light.
**Can be placed indoor by windows
WATER:
The vine-like species can suffer from prolonged drought, but as like other succulents, Never overwater though It likes to be water regularly. The leaves should be thick and full. If they are paper thick the plant is low on water.
If you water from beneath by letting the plant sit in a saucer of water, make sure to pour off any excess water after a few minutes.
** Protect from heavy rains and standing water to prevent rot.
