How to Grow and Care

🌤 Lighting
Crotons thrive in bright, direct to bright indirect light to maintain their bold, multi-coloured leaves. Too little light will dull the vibrancy, while too much harsh midday sun may scorch tender foliage — morning sun and afternoon shade is ideal.

💧 Water
Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy. Water when the top 2–3 cm (about 1 inch) feels dry. They dislike both drought and waterlogging, so use a well-draining mix and never let the pot sit in water. Mist occasionally to boost humidity.

🧭 Feng Shui
In Feng Shui, Crotons are associated with vitality, confidence, and protection thanks to their strong, fiery colours. They’re often placed in entrances, living rooms, or workspaces to energize the space and inspire action.

🪴 Difficulty
Moderate to challenging. Crotons are a bit fussy about changes — they may drop leaves if moved, under- or over-watered, or if humidity is too low. Best for plant parents ready to give consistent care and a stable environment.
